Fiamma 05808-02 RAM Promaster XL Long Wheel Base Roof Rack

I bought the Fiamma roof rack for a Promaster 159WB not EXT. After install I am not impressed with the strength of this system. I have mounted 3 large solar panels to the rack and it seems to sag a bit in the middle. I am looking for an additional bracket to install to my roof to minimize this problem, but the rack should have 4 mounting brackets for a 159WB since my van has 4 mounting spots. It looks like the 159 EXT does come with 4 mounting brackets per side. This rack maybe better if you do not plan to install solar panels on it directly. I also have the Fiamma Awning to go with this and it is very nice. The awning/rack combo is what sold me on the Fiamma product. It was a riddle to figure out how to install the awning and the solar panels because the awning is attached to the mounting brackets underneath the solar panels. Very complicated to get the awning and modules installed because there is no space between the awning and the bottom of the roof rack.
The 3 mounting brackets for the awning only had holes drilled in the back 2 brackets so we had to drill a hole and buy an extra screw at the hardware store to get the awning secure. I was going to pay alot more for an Aluminess rack but decided to buy this one instead. The fact that it is held together with plastic attachments and screws, I am not convinced it will hold up over the long haul. We are still in process of building the van so I will update after we get on the road.
