Dometic™ Coolmatic CRX-1050E/F Electric Refrigerator Freezer
Designed for the rough waters found in the marine environment. The Dometic Coolmatic refrigerators are durable enough for off-road use and stylish at the same time. Due to this, it has become popular among campervan outfitters. The CRX is a front-loading refrigerator opening to the right. Flush mount flange kit included.Why go electric?
The Dometic electric only refrigerators are compressor operated instead of the traditional RV gas absorption operation. This allows for more efficiency during 120 volt and 12 volt use. Exterior ventilation is not required, like propane operated refrigerators. Gas absorption refrigerators must be level to operate, the Dometic Coolmatic refrigerators are capable of functioning at angles of up to 30°.Removable freezer compartment
It’s a fridge, it’s a fridge-freezer and it’s a freezer. This patented invention is down to the removable freezer compartment and smart electronics that regulate the compressor speed, simultaneously saving energy. The freezer box can simply be pulled out to make a larger fridge or freezer and the desired temperature manually set.Electric refrigerators are sensitive to power changes or insufficient power. It is important that the system can handle 15 amps of 12V DC power. A minimum of 10 gauge wire for installations up to 12 ft. is required. If the refrigerator is supplied with insufficient power, it will not operate, or show signs of difficulty operating.
