The Dinosaur Electronics Norcold Refrigerator Lower Control Board is an upgrade to the OEM board in terms of both performance and reliability. Manufactured with superior components, this board is engineered to offer enhanced durability and efficient operation, ensuring your RV refrigerator functions optimally for years to come. The lower control board serves as a critical control unit essentially acting as the "brain" of the refrigerator. It coordinates between the available energy sources, safety protocols, and the regulation of temperature.
120v and 12v Operation
Designed for adaptability, the Dinosaur Electronics N991 board offers AC element control with the option of DC element control for 3-way refrigerators. The board is designed to manage the AC and DC elements, which are responsible for generating the heat needed in the absorption refrigeration cycle.
Propane Ignition and Gas Valve Control
In propane mode, the lower control board initiates the ignition sequence by opening the gas valve and activating the igniter. It continually monitors the status of the flame via a flame sensor. If ignition fails or the flame extinguishes unexpectedly, the board will attempt to re-ignite before locking out the propane operation and triggering an error code.

There's no need for additional modifications or programming; simply plug and play. Failure to correctly identify the part number of the board in your refrigerator can lead to acquiring the wrong board. Additionally, failure to set the jumper on our board to match the part number you are replacing will result in improper operation.

    Working perfectly once I got the jumper in the correct position. Please read the instructions carefully before installing.. Still having trouble getting the green cover on.
