The 231 electric case awning from Dometic has all the great qualities you look for in an awning. To operate, simply press the button on the wireless handheld remote (included). Designed to be vertically mounted making it ideal for campervans with compatible roof racks. The unique shoulder bracket design allows the awning to be used at full extension with no vertical supports, giving you unobstructed enjoyment of your patio space. Durable 4-ply vinyl fabric keeps you cool and has outstanding resistance to fading, scratching and staining.

Wind tested under extreme conditions in Dometic's state-of-the-art laboratory, large patent-pending shoulder brackets and heavy-duty lateral arms provide ample stability. Equipped with a wind sensor that automatically retracts the awning in strong winds for maximum protection. The wind sensor can be adjusted for more or less sensitivity as desired.

The awning features arms that will automatically slope to one side if water starts to pool up on the awning fabric. This feature will save your investment from damage due to excessive weight from rainwater.

This awning comes with a built-in ignition interlock in the control box. This feature discontinues power to the awning when your vehicle is turned on. This makes it so the awning cannot extend out while you are driving down the road. The ignition interlock is required to be installed for the awning warranty to be valid.
