One. Without user modification the design of this vent will permit thee ingress of rain water through the gap between the outer frame and the inner section. That gap needs to be sealed to avoid this. Two. The black plastic turnbuckles that secure the inner vent to the outer frame are poor quality and after being turned a few times to release the inner part from the outer frame can and do break resulting in the inner section falling out whilst in transit. The latter happened to me hence the need to order a new vent. Stainless steel turnbuckles should be used, not cheap plastic.

Item was easy to find online, fits perfectly.

These grills are well constructed and look fantastic. The frame gets installed permanently and the middle comes out for access. One thing to note is these are not surface mount, meaning the thickness of the grill sticks into the wall opening.
