    This is my second Fiamma F45s. It's a nice looking, easy to use awning. It goes out fast and smooth and comes back in just as fast. I have the manual and it's so little hassle to use, I see no reason for a motor.

    Sturdy, well engineered awning

    This is my second Fiamma awning. The first one lasted 15 years until someone borrowed my RV and left the awning extented. They went for a long day hike and a wind storm came through and bent the back support of the awning. It would have lasted longer if it was not left extended. I pick up the new Awning locally. It was well packaged. The quality of the product is astounding. I was impressed with the stainless steel screws. The instructions were easy to follow. After reading the instructions, I discovered that the original RV mounting awing brackets were not installed in the correct location. There should be one in the middle, and two within a few inches of the ends. My installtion had the brackets about 18 inches from the ends and no middle bracket. This allowed the back support to bend because it was not correctly attached via brackets to the RV.
    Operation is smooth and easy with the hand crank. Support legs should be extended when the awing is 3 feet out to reduce stress to mounting hardware.
    It looks great when extended and has a clean, finished look when retracted. Overall a good investment for an awning replacement or an upgrade. We're looking forward to decades of troublefree shade.
