AM Auto UBW-LV Driver Side Half-Slider Small Bunk Window
This is an aftermarket bunk window designed for conversion vans. Produced to the highest quality standards, this window is designed to be mounted on the rear panel of the camper van. A quick latch on the half-slider allows for easy opening and secure closing. The screen independently slides open and closed from the glass slider, easily allowing for screened or un-screened opening in just a few seconds. The built-in screen keeps bugs out of the van at night (the screen is not designed to be removed). The 17% solar tint offers privacy while at the campsite.
  • Half-Slider: Offers a large opening for ventilation
  • Privacy: Made with a 17% solar tint
  • Installation: This window is designed to be bonded to the van with urethane
  • Screen: Includes a sliding screen to keep out bugs
  • Tempered: Made with tempered safety glass
Installation Overview
Installation consists of cutting an opening along the edge of the factory metal stamping. Then cleaning and applying primer to the cut edge, the wall of the van and the window. Next, you would apply urethane on top of the primer and mount the window to the van. Secure the window with painter's tape to ensure it stays in place while bonding. Note that this window requires specific tools for installation and does not include installation instructions.
This window is installed with Urethane Adhesive, you will need a primer base and we recommend edge molding for the cut edge.

    AM A bunk window

Window doesn’t fit as flush as I would like it to. The window sealant is difficult to deal with even warmed up. Better have a 25:1 caulking gun and in hindsight I would buy a pneumatic gun
