Dometic™ Duo-Therm 3314998.000 RV Air Conditioner Heat Strip - 120V - Non-Ducted
This is a heat strip upgrade kit for select Dometic Non-Ducted Air Conditioners. It won't work with Heat Pump Model Air Conditioners. Requires 3314850.000 or 3314851.000 lower assemblies. The heat strip mounts on the ceiling template under the Air Distribution Box (ADB). Plugging the heat strip into the control box allows it to be controlled with the air conditioner. The heat strip consist of a heating element and a limit switch to open the circuit in the event of an overheating situation.
Keep in mind a heat strip is meant to assist a furnace or heater, not to replace it. A heat strip may not produce the desired heat in temperatures below 40°.

    Dometic Heat Strip 120 V non-ducted

    For those the camp all 4 seasons this is a nice additional source of heat. It utilizes the "optional heat" position on your non-ducted AC unit and converts it to a heater with the approximate capacity of a small space heater. The benefit is that it takes up NO floor space and has the much higher airflow of the AC fan system. With two of these units and an optional electric fireplace we only use the propane heat on the coolest days or briefly in the mornings to warm things up quickly.

    Currently it's 80 degrees but when it gets colder I think I will be very satisfied with the purchase

    Tell when the temperature gets cooler days get shorter nights get longer it'll be light until that time the company has provided the product everything they said professionally shipped and understood the sales person clearly
