Dometic™ 94946 (94016) RV Water Heater Door Conversion Kit - 6 Gal. - White
This conversion kit allows you to seamlessly upgrade your older Atwood water heater to a new and improved Dometic WH-6G Series water heater. The purpose of this kit is to cover the sides of the old rectangular opening that the Atwood water heater previously occupied. The purpose of this door is to allow you to gain easy access to your Dometic water heater from the exterior of your RV, making maintenance easier.
Improved Double Latch Design
The double latch design ensures a secure connection between the door and the water heater, preventing risk of losing the door while driving down the road. The kit includes two latches that are compatible with single latch water heaters.

    Atwood Water Heater Door Replacement

    This door assembly is for replacing an old Atwood Water Heater with a new Dometic Water Heater. The Atwood opening is larger than the one needed for the new Dometic Water Heater. This assembly works perfectly! Product was shipped promptly and arrived in good condition. Great transaction!

    We had an issue w the door. The hinges and hardware come with the water heater but the door kit is totally separate. So when our door flew off driving down the road no one knows who is responsible for replacing the door. So we’ve been between Dometic, Panther RV Products, and Camper World trying to get it fixed. Not only is no one helping (because it wasn’t their parts/problem), even if they did help no one has the part in stock - not even the manufacturer! Just be ready to have some extra leg work with these products finding out what parts are and aren’t included and also with replacing them when needed.
