Dometic™ Atwood 31098 OEM Hydro Flame Furnace Gas Valve

The furnace gas valve controls the flow of propane to the burner, dependent on signals from the control board. Starting and stopping the flow of gas to the burner by a 12V DC signal. the dual solenoid design gives secondary protection against gas leaking through the valve seals. there are two valves doing the same task, so there is always a backup valve to provide the needed protection. An internal pressure regulator is attached to the valve, reducing the pressure between 9.5 and 10.5 in. WC.

Side Outlet: The outlet is at a 90° angle from the inlet
3/8" Male Flared Connection: The inlet is 3/8" Male Flare and the outlet is a female fitting for the orifice (not included)
Dual-Solenoid Valves: Offers efficient operation and protection
12V DC: Powered by a 12V DC control board

Prior to ordering, please compare the picture of the valve to your existing valve to ensure that you are ordering the correct gas valve. If you have a 31096 or 31097 gas valve, you must order the 31155 and transfer the fitting, coil harness and the gas manifold from the old unit.

I am writing this review to retract a previous review. I gave them a less than steller review as I was under the impression they were going to charge me a 15% restocking fee. I realized when I actually read the RMA they sent they waived that since I had not even taken the part of the box. They really did give good service.

In Hot Water Again

My 2 year old Atwood water heater quit working. Discovered it was the gas valve so I ordered an exact replacement from Panther Products. Works like new.
