Shurflo 4008-101 RV 12V On-Demand Potable Water Supply Pump – 3.0 GPM
The Shurflo Revolution fresh water pump design was created with a unique one-piece diaphragm and internal by-pass, assuring long life and top performance in all plumbing systems. The quality reputation of Shurflo is built on the reliability and dependability of every pump they build. The Revolution fresh water automatic demand pump is quiet, thermally protected and can run dry without damage. Mounts in any position. With SHURflo standard 1/2" NPSM ports, and a built in check valve, the 4008 pump is a direct 2088 pump replacement upgrade.
  • On-Demand: Turns on when pressure decreases
  • Backflow Preventer: An internal check valve prevents reverse flow
  • Multi-Fixture: Designed to handle plumbing systems with multiple fixtures
  • 4-Chamber Diaphragm: Four independent pump chambers for a smooth, even flow
  • Standard RV System: Mounts between the water tank and the distribution piping
On-Demand
An on-demand pump moves water through the fresh water system. It should be installed between the water storage tank and the distribution piping system. The pump turns itself on by an internal switch that activates when the water system pressure decreases. The internal pressure switch shuts the pump off when pressure is reestablished. Opening a faucet will reduce the internal water system pressure, and this turns on the pump.

Warranty Information

Shurflo pumps are warranted to be free of defect in material and workmanship under normal use, for a period of one (1) year from the date of manufacture, or one (1) year of use, with proof of purchase. Panther RV Products can assist in facilitating the warranty with the manufacture. Panther RV Products requires a certified technician to diagnose the unit if determined defective by the user. This Warranty does NOT cover damage due to faulty installation or installations that do not comply with the instructions or R.V.I.A. and C.R.V.A. standards, and any damage resulting from such. Allowing water to freeze in the system may result in damage to the pump and plumbing system. This is not covered under warranty.
