Description
Lagun 06448 OEM HD Metal Table Leg Metal Handle
This is an OEM Replacement Metal Handle in the event that your original handle becomes over-tightened and stuck in a locked position. It is designed to compress the table leg or arm, which features a channel, allowing it to tighten around the inserted bracket or leg. This secure compression ensures the table remains stable and does not move.Installation Instructions
To begin, use a rag to protect the arm or leg and secure it in a vice or similar device. Using a hacksaw or equivalent tool, make slow, even strokes to cut the handle or bolt, then tap out the old bolt. Remove any end caps, if any are present. Next, insert a tight-fitting wooden block inside the end of the leg or arm, ensuring it is snug to prevent compression of the aluminum. This step is crucial to avoid distorting the aluminum, which could damage the function of the part. Install the new bolt, washer, and handle. Once complete, remove the wooden block and reinstall the end caps (if applicable).
