This fresh water pump is an on-command pump that turns on once it receives 12 Volt DC Power. Typically used in a simple RV fresh water system, by dropping the pump in a jerry can or other fresh water tank. Then wiring the pump to a switch or a faucet with a switch in the handle. Finally plumbing a cold water line up to the faucet.

    nice pump for my purpose. not tons of pressure but in a 5 gal container it is silent.
