Dinosaur Elect. UIB 24 VAC Fan Control Aftermarket RV Furnace Ignitor Control Board

The Dinosaur Electronics UIB 24 VAC Fan Control Board is a replacement ignition control board designed for 24V AC park model furnaces with fan control. It manages the ignition sequence, monitors flame detection, and controls fan operation to support reliable furnace performance.

The board features a three-attempt ignition sequence to help establish a reliable flame. Before ignition begins, the board checks the sail switch to confirm proper operation. If the sail switch is stuck closed before the fan starts, the board prevents the fan and ignition system from activating until the issue is corrected. Once the fan starts and the sail switch closes, the board waits approximately 20 seconds before opening the gas valve and beginning ignition.

The board continuously monitors flame detection to help maintain safe furnace operation. If no flame is detected after three ignition attempts, the board shuts off the fan motor approximately 90 seconds later. After one hour, it automatically repeats the ignition sequence. If ignition fails again, the board enters lockout mode and requires a thermostat reset before further attempts. An onboard fuse provides additional electrical protection, while a bi-color LED indicates fan circuit and gas valve operation for easier troubleshooting.
