Description

Camco 40624 EVO RV City Water In-Line Filter Replacement Cartridge
This replacement cartridge is designed for the Camco 40631 EVO In-Line Water Filter. Regularly replacing your RV water filter is crucial for maintaining optimal filtration performance and ensuring clean, safe water. Generally, it is recommended to replace the filter every camping season or every 3 to 6 months. Over time, the filter cartridge accumulates sediment and contaminants, diminishing its effectiveness and potentially clogging the filter. By replacing it regularly, you prevent bacterial growth, maintain water flow, and guarantee the removal of impurities. Following the manufacturer's instructions and considering water quality, usage frequency, and any noticeable changes in water flow or quality, will help determine the appropriate replacement schedule for your RV in-line water filter.
Superior Filtration
The filtration process begins as water travels through a porous shell with microscopic openings, measuring no greater than 5 microns in diameter. This initial filtration stage effectively removes sediments and larger particles from the water, giving you clearer and cleaner water for consumption. But the filtration doesn't stop there. The filtered water then passes through a bed of KDF (Kinetic Degradation Fluxion) and GAC (Granulated Activated Carbon), enhancing the filtration process even further. KDF helps control bacteria and inhibits their growth, while the GAC component absorbs chemicals and contaminants, including chlorine, to deliver fresh and great-tasting water.
