This is a Dometic™ OEM replacement capacitor for FreshJet 5 Low Profile A/C units. A new mounting strap is included.

One of the primary signs of a faulty capacitor is the air conditioner struggling to start or failing to turn on, indicating that the capacitor is unable to provide the necessary startup energy. Additionally, a humming noise from the air conditioner unit can be a sign of a capacitor struggling to perform its function. Overheating and shut down of the system shortly after starting are also common symptoms of a failing capacitor. In some cases, a visible bulge or leak on the capacitor body itself can be observed, which is a clear indicator of malfunction.
