- Cutting Out the Panel: The first step is to carefully cut out the panel on the van's sidewall, following the interior curvature of the vehicle. This ensures that the window will fit seamlessly into the designated area.

Nice addition to our transit
The good: Window came very well packaged. Quality is great. Install was straightforward, took a couple of hours. The so so: The curvature of the window is not a perfect match to the van wall, but it’s really minor. There’s a tiny amount of wind noise coming thru the slider. The slider movement is somewhat tight but I would prefer that over being too loose. The great: Having the light and visibility is especially nice.

The window is very nice. It is awesome to have a slider and a screen. You definitely pay more for it compared to a basic factory window but I am glad I splurged. I bought the driver and passenger side and am happy with both. It is scary cutting into the van but the contour is already there to guide you. My first window install leaked because I was too cheap to buy a powered caulk gun for the urethane and my bead was choppy. My second window was smooth with the powered caulk gun. SO GET ONE! The leak was my mistake. Noice windows though.
