Description

Thetford C223-CS RV Cassette Toilet - Electric Flush
The C223-CS Thetford cassette toilet has become the toilet of choice in camper van builds, offering modern styling, durable synthetic construction, and user-friendly maintenance. It connects directly to the RV’s fresh water tank and uses an electric push button to add water to the bowl. The bowl rotates 180 degrees and clicks securely into place, while a removable seat and cover make cleaning easy. An integrated waste tank level indicator, automatic pressure release vent, and a 4.7-gallon removable black water tank with a no-splash pour-out spout, wheels, and a retractable handle provide added convenience. Designed for flexibility, it features portrait or landscape service door options and an integrated back cover to neatly hide plumbing lines.
Cassette
A cassette toilet is made up of two parts: a permanently fixed part and a waste tank that is accessible from the outside. The removable waste tank is located under the toilet bowl and can be removed via a door (not provided) on the outside of the camper or van. This feature allows you to build a small bathroom without having to worry about plumbing a black water tank into your camper.
Operation
To flush this toilet, press and hold the flush button located on the back panel. To allow waste to pass from the toilet bowl to the holding tank, manually move the blade handle on the front of the toilet from left to right. It is important to note that the blade does not open automatically when flushing. To adjust the angle of the toilet bowl, close the cover and use both hands to rotate it up to 90° clockwise and 170° counterclockwise.
Installation
This cassette toilet has a waste tank, but no fresh water system. It has hookups to connect to your camper's freshwater tank. It requires 12V DC power to operate the flush. An enclosure will be necessary since the back side of the toilet is open, and an access door (not included) will be required on the back side of the cassette.
