The Victron Orion XS 1400 is a powerful, fully programmable DC-DC charger designed for high-demand mobile and off-grid systems. Its wide input range, adjustable output voltage, and adaptive charging algorithm make it suitable for 12V, 24V, or mixed-voltage battery banks. With a rugged IP65 design, fanless cooling, and built-in smart alternator compatibility, the Orion XS 1400 delivers reliable and efficient charging for large RVs, vans, boats, and commercial equipment.

High-Power Charging & Flexible Voltage Support: The Orion XS 1400 accepts 9–35V input and provides adjustable output voltage from 10–35V, allowing use in both 12V and 24V systems. Output current is user-adjustable from 1–50A, with up to 1400W available on 24V systems. Its adaptive 4-stage charging profile supports LiFePO₄, AGM, Gel, and Flooded batteries with customizable parameters.
Smart Alternator & Engine Detection: Built-in engine/shutdown detection enables the charger to activate only when the alternator is running, making it fully compatible with modern Euro-5/6 smart alternators and ECU-controlled vehicles.
Bluetooth Configuration & Monitoring: All settings — including current limit, charge voltages, absorption time, and protection thresholds — can be configured through the VictronConnect app. Users can view live data, track charging performance, and apply firmware updates wirelessly.

Robust Protection & Durable Design

The Orion XS 1400 features over-temperature protection with automatic derating, input undervoltage lock-out, reverse polarity protection, and short-circuit protection. The fanless, IP65-rated housing ensures silent operation and long-term durability in harsh or mobile environments.

System Integration & Power Supply Capability

In addition to battery charging, the Orion XS 1400 can operate as a stabilized DC power supply with adjustable output voltage. It supports VE.Smart Networking, VE.Direct communication, and remote on/off control, allowing seamless integration into larger Victron Energy systems and GX-based monitoring platforms.

Efficient High-Power Charging:

With efficiency up to 98.5%, the Orion XS 1400 delivers strong charging performance with minimal heat generation. It can also recover deeply discharged batteries, provided the cells are not permanently damaged.
