The Victron MultiPlus-II 2x120V is a next-generation, all-in-one inverter and battery charger designed specifically for North American 120/240V split-phase power systems, including 50-amp RV and mobile installations. Like other MultiPlus-II models, it combines a pure sine wave inverter, an adaptive battery charger, and a fast AC transfer switch in one compact unit. What sets the 2x120V version apart is its ability to handle both legs of a split-phase power source in a single unit, simplifying installation while maintaining full system safety and UL compliance.

Dual-Leg Pure Sine Wave Inverter: Provides clean 120V AC power on two independent legs, ideal for split-phase panels in 50-amp RV and North American systems. Delivers stable power for sensitive electronics, appliances, and tools.
Advanced Adaptive Battery Charging: Adjusts charging based on battery condition to extend battery life while efficiently recharging from shore power or generators. Supports lithium, AGM, and lead-acid batteries and uses power across both legs.
PowerAssist & Seamless AC Transfer: Supplements limited shore or generator power across both 120V legs during high demand to help prevent breaker trips. Includes enhanced grid safety and anti-islanding protection for ESS-ready systems.

System Integration & Expandability

The MultiPlus-II 2x120V integrates seamlessly with Victron GX devices such as the Cerbo GX, providing full system monitoring and control through the VictronConnect app and the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal. While a single unit can manage split-phase power, multiple units can still be configured in parallel or three-phase systems for larger installations.

ESS (Energy Storage System) Ready

The MultiPlus-II 2x120V is designed to serve as the core of a Victron Energy Storage System (ESS). It can integrate with MPPT solar charge controllers or grid-tie PV inverters in advanced energy systems, with ESS functionality configured through Victron GX devices using the Venus OS platform.
