Description

Victron ART-BPP920140100-VIC GX Tank 140 Level Monitor
The Victron GX Tank 140 is a tank level monitoring module designed to integrate seamlessly with Victron GX system monitoring products, including the Cerbo GX. It allows up to four tank level sensors to be connected, providing clear and accurate readings for fresh water, grey water, black water, fuel, or other liquid tanks. Tank levels can be viewed locally on a GX device and remotely through the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal, giving full visibility of tank status at all times.
  • Multi-Sensor Compatibility & Simple Wiring: The GX Tank 140 supports both current-based (4–20 mA) and voltage-based (0–10 V) tank level senders, making it compatible with a wide range of sensors. Two of the four inputs provide a built-in 24 V power supply to power connected senders, while the remaining two channels support externally powered sensors using the integrated power-in terminal and fused outputs.
  • USB-Powered GX Integration: Connection to the GX device is handled through a single USB cable, which also powers the GX Tank 140. This eliminates the need for additional power wiring and keeps installation clean and straightforward.
  • Configurable & Stable Readings: Upper and lower measurement limits can be configured to support sensors that use only part of the voltage range, such as 0–5 V senders. Readings are averaged using adjustable damping between 1 and 60 seconds to ensure stable, accurate tank level display.
Fault Detection & Marine Integration
The GX Tank 140 actively monitors sensor and wiring health. If readings fall outside expected ranges, an alarm is triggered to alert the user to faulty sensors or wiring issues. In marine applications, tank level data can be transmitted by the GX device over the NMEA 2000 network, allowing levels to be displayed on compatible multifunction displays (MFDs).
System Integration & Remote Monitoring
When connected to a GX system, tank data is fully integrated into the Victron ecosystem. Levels can be monitored locally on GX displays or remotely via the VRM portal, providing centralized system oversight alongside batteries, inverters, solar, and chargers.
