Dometic™ DMC4101 RV 12V DC Electric Refrigerator / Freezer - 10 C/F
Dometic DMC4101 brings a fresh design to the RV kitchen. The thoughtfully designed stainless steel door sets a new standard with tight radius corners, rolled edges, and a recessed side pocket latching handle. Opening the refrigerator completes the experience with glass shelves, clear door bins, dual crisper drawers and overhead LED illumination. 10 Cu. Ft. storage capacity accommodates your food and beverage needs while living mobile. Easy to use digital controls provide flexibility between performance and power consumption. Dometic’s variable speed compressor technology is purpose-built for the RV industry with over-the-road durability and maximum efficiency.
Why go electric?
The electric only refrigerators are compressor operated instead of the traditional RV gas absorption operation. This allows for more efficiency during 12 volt use. Exterior ventilation is not required, like propane operated refrigerators. Gas absorption refrigerators must be level to operate, Compressor refrigerators are capable of functioning at angles of up to 30°.
Electric refrigerators are sensitive to power changes or insufficient power. It is important that the system can handle 15 amps of 12V DC power. A minimum of 10 gauge wire for installations up to 12 ft. is required. If the refrigerator is supplied with insufficient power, it will not operate, or show signs of difficulty operating.
