The iHider115 is engineered for efficient, intelligent performance and simplified installation. It features an internal inverter that converts 115V AC power into 12V DC to power the thermostat, eliminating the need for separate 12V wiring and reducing complexity—especially useful in retrofit applications. Additionally, the unit is equipped with an EC (electronically commutated) motor, which internally combines AC & DC power and uses an electronic controller to precisely regulate speed, airflow, and pressure. Equipped with a high-efficiency vertical rotary type Samsung compressor, the iHider115 excels in its dual role, consuming only 964W for cooling and 730W for heating.
