Description

Thetford C223-CS RV Cassette Toilet w/ 050-935 Shower Pan
The Thetford C223-CS Cassette Toilet offers a durable, easy-to-maintain solution with a high-quality design that connects directly to your RV’s fresh water tank. It features a rotating bowl, push-button water fill, removable seat for simple cleaning, and a 4.7-gallon waste tank with wheels and a retractable handle for easy emptying. Designed for convenience, it includes an integrated tank level indicator, no-splash pour-out spout, and a clean finish with hidden plumbing lines. Paired with it in this kit is the Thetford 050-935 Shower Pan, a small molded shower tray that is compatible with the Thetford C223 or C224 cassette toilet. This shower tray will add a professional look to your camper van conversion or other build that requires a small bathroom footprint.
Cassette
A cassette toilet is made up of two parts: a permanently fixed part and a waste tank that is accessible from the outside. The removable waste tank is located under the toilet bowl and can be removed via a door (not provided) on the outside of the camper or van. This feature allows you to build a small bathroom without having to worry about plumbing a black water tank into your camper.
Operation
To flush this toilet, press and hold the flush button located on the back panel. To allow waste to pass from the toilet bowl to the holding tank, manually move the blade handle on the front of the toilet from left to right. It is important to note that the blade does not open automatically when flushing. To adjust the angle of the toilet bowl, close the cover and use both hands to rotate it up to 90° clockwise and 170° counterclockwise.
Installation
This cassette toilet has a waste tank, but no fresh water system. It has hookups to connect to your camper's freshwater tank. It requires 12V DC power to operate the flush. An enclosure will be necessary since the back side of the toilet is open, and an access door (not included) will be required on the back side of the cassette. The installer will be required to build a foundation for the shower tray and toilet.
