Dometic™ DFMDH35121 RV Essential Medium Propane Furnace - 35K - Doorless

This is the Essential Doorless version of Dometic’s DFMDH35 Series Furnace, designed so you can install the heater without needing an exterior access door. While this setup does mean the furnace is serviced from inside the RV rather than outside, it also eliminates the need to cut a large opening in the side of your camper—making installation cleaner and simpler. With an upgraded Hall Effect Sensor and integrated Soft Start, it delivers reliable ignition and noticeably quieter operation with an 80% reduction in In-Rush Current. It also produces 18–22% more airflow, helping distribute heat more evenly and keeping your space comfortably warm.

The one-piece tubular design eliminates seams and welding for a more robust heat exchanger that maximizes air distribution. The radius tubing allows the air to move more freely through and around the heat exchanger. Reduced air turbulence means a quieter furnace.

Don't worry about making your furnace fit one way, this furnace can be mounted horizontally or vertically. With several duct configurations to choose from, you can make your cabinet the way you want.

This unit is typically installed in tent campers, truck campers and small travel trailers due to its small size and lower BTU capacities. Recently it has been popular in custom van conversions and ice fish houses. It is sometimes used in larger trailers or motor homes for smaller zone heating.

The furnace housing is constructed of a pliable steel and you may receive it with a slightly bent housing. When it arrives, you may need to bend the housing back to a rectangular shape with a pair of pliers before installing.
